China Frees Underground Church Pastor After Trump Intervention

Pastor Ezra Jin Mingri, founder of one of China's largest underground churches, was released after nine months in detention and arrived in Los Angeles on July 4. He was among 18 Zion Church leaders arrested in October 2025 on charges of illegally using information networks, though eight church members remain detained.
